It is important that students are aware that mistakes are NOT bad. Instead, they are a sign of trying out new things and experimenting. This is where learning happens! It’s true that over-correction can be negative, demotivating and overwhelming and it can hinder learning, but correction is also important for students to improve and continue to learn. Remember and refer back to what you learned in your Teacher Training module about how and when to correct students to ensure that they are encouraged to keep learning.
